Supporting Our Members Through Change
Acclaim Wealth has received new members from the NQ Division who were impacted by the closure of the Shield and First Guardian Master Funds. We understand that recent changes and the freezing of certain investments has had significant financial and emotional impact on many members, and we are committed to supporting them through this challenging time.
While we cannot change what has already occurred, our priority is to provide clear, compassionate communication and practical support. We are committed to assisting members with their questions, concerns, and complaints, and to helping them navigate this challenging transition with dignity and care.
NQ Super & Pension Transfer to Freedom of Choice
In February 2025, all NQ Super & Pension accounts were transferred to the Freedom of Choice division of AMG Super (the Fund). Members were notified via Significant Event Notices (SEN) issued on 12 December 2024.
How We’re Supporting Impacted Members
Through the Freedom of Choice product, Acclaim Wealth is focused on supporting investors affected by First Guardian and Shield investments by:
• Significantly lowering fees and costs
• Waiving administration fees on frozen investments
• Providing clear, ongoing communication
• Collaborating with the Trustee, Equity Trustees Superannuation Limited, who have expanded their Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to offer free, confidential counselling and wellbeing support to impacted members

Background
NQ Super & Pension Division
NQ Super & Pension accounts were previously offered through a division of AMG Super known as the NQ Super & Pension division, promoted by New Quantum Pty Limited ABN 15 632 007 571.
As communicated in the Significant Event Notice issued on 12 December 2024, Equity Trustees Superannuation Limited, acting as Trustee of the Fund, made the decision to close the NQ Super & Pension division and transfer members to the Freedom of Choice division.
Acclaim Wealth’s Role
Acclaim Wealth is the promoter and administrator of the Acclaim Division of the AMG Super Fund and the Freedom of Choice product. Acclaim Wealth is not related to the promotor of the NQ Division. Following the Trustee’s decision to close the NQ Super & Pension division, member accounts were transferred into Freedom of Choice.
